Picks are made in deposit order after the Breeder’s pick. I’ll contact you to schedule a visit, or we can video chat or share pictures and videos if you can’t come in person. You’ll receive plenty of updates from birth until pick day, so you may already have a favorite in mind. If you switch from male to female or vice versa, your pick spot will adjust accordingly.

The Seller provides a two-year warranty against debilitating congenital defects, including hips, elbows, eyes, heart, and DNA conditions such as PRCD PRA, vWd1, GRPRA2, NEWS, GR-PRA1, ICH, and DM. All efforts have been made to prevent hereditary issues in breeding.

A debilitating congenital defect is defined as a life-threatening condition or one that prevents the puppy from fulfilling its intended purpose. Any suspected defect must be confirmed by a licensed veterinarian, with records provided to the Seller within seven days of diagnosis. The Seller may require a second opinion from a veterinarian at their expense. If necropsy results are inconclusive, the warranty is void.

If a congenital defect is confirmed, the Buyer may receive a replacement puppy of equal or lesser value from the next available litter, with no need to return the original puppy. Replacement timing may take 6-12 months, and color or gender is not guaranteed. Shipping costs for the replacement puppy are the Buyer’s responsibility.

If the puppy is euthanized or disposed of without a second opinion from the Seller’s veterinarian, the Buyer waives all rights to a replacement. This warranty does not cover viral illnesses, infections, improper bites, stress-related conditions, parasites, cancer, endocrine disorders, ingestion of foreign objects, or physical injury. No other warranties are made, and this warranty is non-transferable.

Puppies typically go home at approximately 8 weeks of age after receiving their veterinary exam, first vaccination, and microchip. Occasionally, an individual puppy may remain with us longer if we believe additional time would benefit that puppy.

Our breeding parents complete health testing appropriate to their size and breed, including hips through OFA or PennHIP, elbows, heart, patellas for Minis and Mediums, CAER eye examinations, and a comprehensive DNA panel. Individual health-testing information can be found on our Parents page.

Our puppies receive veterinary care at Edinburgh Animal Hospital in Chesapeake, Virginia. They are dewormed on schedule and receive a complete wellness exam, first vaccination, and microchip at approximately 7 weeks of age.

Each puppy goes home with a Snuggle Puppy, toy, collar and leash, blanket carrying the littermates’ scent, veterinary records, registration papers, and other thoughtful items—all packed in a canvas bag.

The pet price is $2,500. After questionnaire approval, a $300 non-refundable deposit is applied toward the purchase price and reserves your place on our waitlist. Discounts are available for returning Lake Road Doodles families, military members, and first responders. Occasionally, a Breeder Pick may be offered for $4,000; discounts do not apply to that option.

The Goldendoodle Association of North America (GANA) promotes responsible breeding, health testing, education, and the well-being of Goldendoodles. Lake Road Doodles is a GANA Gold Level Breeder, which means our breeding dogs meet GANA’s Gold Level health-testing requirements.
