Jennifer’s Luna will be having pups End of April

Will be ready the end of June in time for summer she is only taking 5 deposits .

Pups at 3 to 16 days we do Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) Follow our FB page to see examples .Studies have shown doing ENS makes a healthier puppy as he/she grows . ESI helps them to become more conditioned for the things in the big wide world. Seeing a Puppy can only smell until they are 2 to 3 weeks old.

At two weeks we will put a washable puppy pad at the end of their whelping box so they can start learning to go away from where they are sleeping to potty. And this is also when we really start those daily touches and of course weekly pictures.

At about 4 weeks we move them to what I say the toddler room where we introduce kennels. We leave the doors open so they can just come and go as they please . We also then have the Puppy Litter boxes for them to use. They at that time start playing outside when weather permits.

All kinds of things happen the last couple of weeks. They get their first visit to the groom shop (my daughter is a groomer right next door) and they have a spa day and pictures. Then they go to the vet for their 1st puppy shot, fecal, microchip and well exam. We have a professional trainer come and evaluate each puppy. That is also when they start sleeping in their kennels at night. We stay busy for the first 8 weeks and exposed to a lot of things!

Puppies go home at 8 to 12 weeks of age.
